What is the difference between Mopeds & Motorcycles?

Any two wheeled vehicle with 50cc's or less AND cannot exceed 30 MPH is considered a moped. Can be registered as a moped and can be driven with a regular operator's drivers license. Anything over 50 cc's and or can reach speeds above 30 MPH falls under the motorcycle category and must be registered as a motorcycle and requires a motorcycle license.
